Notes From the Journey

Observations on the Road of Faith

Welcome to Notes From the Journey — my corner of the internet to process what God’s teaching me in the middle of real life. These posts aren’t polished devotionals, just honest reflections about faith, weakness, and the grace that keeps showing up anyway. If you’ve ever found yourself learning the hard way or clinging to Scripture in the middle of the mess, you’re in the right place.

Healing  Haiku

This little part of the universe is my attempt to help heal the hard beginnings and harder endings that have been part of my life these past 2 years.

I’m a poet. Not a great one. Not an award-winning one. Not even a recognized one. But I am a (once, long ago) published poet who has now ventured into a new realm of OCD poetry writing.

I’m not sure why, but lately I’ve been obsessed with writing haiku. It’s an unexpected turn of events in an otherwise mundane life. But there it is. I somehow have to come to terms with this obession.
